Frequently Asked Questions
To help us focus on caring for the cats, we’ve answered some of the most common questions below. We appreciate you taking a moment to review them!
Where is Suncatcher Sanctuary located? Can I visit?
Suncatcher Sanctuary is based in Phoenix, AZ. Because we operate out of a private residence, we are not able to offer public visits. This ensures the safety, privacy, and well-being of both the cats and their caretaker.
Our long-term dream is to create a dedicated sanctuary space where we can host small events and allow supporters to meet our special needs cats in person. If this vision speaks to you, becoming a monthly donor helps make that future possible.
Thank you for understanding and for supporting our work.
Do you have cats available for adoption or foster?
Suncatcher Sanctuary is a sanctuary-based rescue and does not typically offer adoptions or a foster program. Most cats who come into our care remain with us for the rest of their lives due to their medical, physical, or hospice needs.
In rare cases, an adoption may be considered depending on the individual cat and circumstances. If that occurs, we follow a standard adoption process including an application, interview, home check, and adoption fee.
Do you accept donated items or food?
Yes, we do! Larkspur Cat Clinic accepts select donated items on our behalf, including gently used towels, cat trees, toys, and unopened food or treats.
Please bring donations during the clinic’s regular business hours and let the front desk know they are for Suncatcher Sanctuary. From there, we’ll take care of the rest.
