Bibi arrived at Suncatcher Sanctuary in December 2023 after being found as a stray with infections in both eyes. Due to the severity, she underwent a bilateral enucleation. From the beginning, Bibi had a little spicy flair to her—but oh, how she’s bloomed! Underneath that sass is a truly sweet girl who has settled into sanctuary life in her own unique way.

She proudly holds the title of being the sole user of our $300 cat exercise wheel, turning what could’ve been modern art into an actual workout machine. Bibi gets on it especially before mealtime, as if she’s revving up her appetite. We call it her pre-dinner cardio!

Bibi also adores her ball tower track and plays with it like it’s her job. She’s got a curious and clever way of navigating the world: unlike many blind cats who rely mostly on their noses, Bibi often swats her paws out like a little radar, guiding herself to food… or to you.

And then, there’s the tail. That big, fluffy plume of a tail that she carries high like a victory flag. It’s her signature—and just like Bibi herself, it’s impossible not to smile when you see it coming your way.
