Orion joined Suncatcher Sanctuary in April 2022, arriving from an animal shelter in Tucson. He came to us after a tragic incident where he, his mom, and his siblings were attacked by two large dogs. While they all survived, Orion was left paralyzed. Despite this, his spirit remains unbroken.

As the first paralyzed cat welcomed into our sanctuary, Orion holds a special place in our hearts. He has an adorable trick—an original song makes him flip over and show his belly, making it easy to pick him up and care for him.

Orion has become the big brother of the sanctuary, greeting each new cat with his gentle and nurturing heart. He loves playing and grooming with the younger cats, and his beautiful eyes truly are windows to his soul.

Orion’s resilience and loving nature inspire us every day!
